BASS OFFERS FULL MARINE SYSTEM DESIGN AND INTEGRATION

BASS OFFERS FULL MARINE SYSTEM DESIGN AND INTEGRATION

Since its inception in 1970, Bass Products has constantly strived to provide the latest and most innovative systems on the market. Today, the company offers full system design of everything from the helm station to the toilet remote control. Providing custom solutions and advanced technical expertise, the engineering department works closely with customers to design and install state-of-the-art E-Plex Systems.
An integration of all electronic systems aboard into a common shell, the versatile E-Plex System distributes information simultaneously to strategically located control/monitoring stations. Bass configures E-Plex with the current systems very quickly via E-Logic for a straightforward installation.
"E-Plex offers boat owners and builders a complete solution for monitoring and controlling equipment onboard," said customer service specialist Colin Althen. "Rather than having to piece together all the necessary components form different manufacturers and hoping it works, Bass provides a single source with E-Plex so you know the systems are going to function well together."
Incredibly flexible, E-Plex can control and monitor tank levels, gensets, GPS, security and multimedia, engines, hydraulics, heating and air conditioning and user-defined lighting. The system is comprised of

intuitive user interfaces, power distribution modules, machine interface modules, sensors and software. An open architecture ensures the system integrates with all forms of equipment and other electronic protocols.
"We've engineered systems that can show streaming video from security cameras and control the home theater in larger yachts," said Althen. "It will even dim the lights when a movie starts."
Supplying comprehensive diagnostics, this system supplies error detection, troubleshooting features and programming for Plug & Play field replacement or upgrades. Powered by a patented multiplexing technology, the E-Plex System enables power and data to be transported over a simple, two-wire bus. Economical, it provides all the benefits associated with multiplexing without the cost, complexity and weight.
"There really is no limit to what we can control onboard with E-Plex," said Althen. "It's an expandable system that can grow as you grow. Many of our customers choose to initially deploy a fairly simple configuration and expand it over time since E-Plex hardware and software is specifically designed to enable scalability and growth."
